I am NOT the teacher, I don't know how to do this!

Well, actually, I am the teacher, but I know lots of parents who say this at home. Have you ever felt this way? What resources do you go to? Let's talk for a second about reading and language arts since that is my area. My high school children frequently come home with things that they need my help with. I am a big Google person. If I am in question about anything, I Google it! What tools do you need to be able to help your child at home? I would like to help you get a list going of sites that can be helpful to you!

  1. Haha. That is so funny because almost every day one out of three children come home with something they don't know or understand, nor do I , and to be honest even the 23 year old that's on his own ( when he does call ) I usually have to google it or I tell them to " just google it" more than ever. Another I use often is Ask.com and Ehow.com Another site I like which helps me but doesn't pertain to homework (I'm just throwing it out there) it basically helps keep track of knowing where they are is Life360 it basically shows you on a map where your kids are so if they tell me that's where they are going that's where they should be. Im not in love with that site but it does give a ballpark vicinity in case of emergency.
